There is the Human part to all that happens in this life and there is the Divine part. More often than not we bother much about that which God is to do and unfortunately we will not do our own obligations. We wish all were done divinely without our contribution. God would want our input because he did not create us to be robots, you see not that He cannot do it all alone but He is giving us a great privilege to be part of what He is doing.

“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asks receives; and he that seeks finds; and to him that knocks it shall be opened. Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leads to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat” Matthew 7:7-13.

God is a covenant keeping God. God have never failed in His duty towards men but men have been and will keep failing God and themselves. God is not weak to do anything. God is strong and more than equal to any task. God, most time wait for us to do our own part of the bargain

God remember, works with laws and principles. God always want to do a lot for you and me but we hindered Him because our part is not done.

You’ve been desiring God to heal your beloved from that illness, yes it is possible, God is waiting for you to do your part, go lay your hands on him or her and pray a prayer of faith. Do your part.

Mark 16:18

“They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover”

You’ve been desiring salvation for that man, that is the will of God also, God is powerful to save him but He is waiting for you to witness the gospel to him. Do your part.

Isaiah 29:13

“Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men”

 

Many claimed to be close to God but only with their mouth not with their heart. God is more interested in the nearness of the heart than that of the mouth.

 

Malachi 3:7

“Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?”

 

Hebrews 10:22-23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. 23Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
